The possibility of osteoarthritis being treatable and reversible sounds too good to be true — but if researchers are able to see cartilage regrowth in mice, there is a bit of hope for the rest of us.

Targeted stem cell treatment may indeed be the way to go, but so far there has been very limited data to support use of available stem cell treatments for humans.
